Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela reported that a Christian Dior suitcase containing jewellery worth Rs. 70 lakh was stolen from London’s Gatwick Airport on July 31, 2025, while she was attending Wimbledon. The theft occurred after her Emirates flight from Mumbai, with the bag disappearing from the luggage belt despite her possessing the baggage tag and ticket. Rautela expressed dismay over the incident, highlighting it as a breach of airport security and a matter of traveler safety. She sought assistance from Emirates and Gatwick Airport officials but received no help. On Instagram, she tagged the authorities, urging them to retrieve her bag, stating, “Injustice tolerated is injustice repeated.”

This isn’t the first time Rautela’s Rs. 70 lakh jewellery has made headlines. In 2021, she posted a video showcasing Cartier and Bvlgari bracelets worth Rs. 70 lakh, studded with gold and diamonds, which went viral, garnering over 8 lakh views. Fans were captivated by the luxurious pieces and her glittery nail polish.

Additionally, earlier in July 2025, Rautela’s mother, Meera, accused the actress’s former manager, Vedika Prakash Shetty, of theft and deceit during 2015–2017, when Shetty was entrusted with Urvashi’s wardrobe and personal belongings.
