The Vu GloLED TV panel is manufactured by depositing inorganic nanoscale materials (Glo material) on a 4K LED panel using an advanced robotic manufacturing process. This Vu GloLED TV material dramatically enriches the colour reproduction almost to the level of an OLED panel. Colour richness is measured using the NTSC standard. Normal 4K TVs have a colour gamut of 72%, while OLED has a colour gamut of 100%. The Vu GloLED TV panel has a colour gamut of 94 %, very close to that of an OLED. Moreover, The Vu GloLED TV material also increases brightness by 60% while reducing energy consumption.
The Vu GloLED TV panel is paired with the Vu Glo AI processor which upscales OTT content using advanced AI and reproduces the full-colour gamut. The Vu Glo AI processor has the latest quad-core processor as well as a dual-core GPU to run apps without any lag. The Vu GloLED TVcomes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
The Vu GloLED TV runs the latest Google TV OS. With the new Google TV interface browse content from across your apps. Movies and shows are intelligently organized in ways that reflect your interests. Use your phone to add to your watchlist or search through content.
The Vu GloLED TV features an integrated DJ class subwoofer. It is a specially engineered Sub-woofer that fits into the slim frame of The Vu GloLED TV yet does not crackle or vibrate even if the volume is at 100%. This Subwoofer enhances bass frequencies as well as provides a surround sound effect.
The Vu GloLED TV comes with a built-in soundbar having 4 speakers and 1 - Subwoofer for a total of a 104watt sound output. With the Vu GloLED TV, you don’t require an external audio/speaker system. Just play the Spotify app on TV and control your favorite music library wirelessly from your phones. The Vu DJ music system gives you an immersive surround experience, with psycho-acoustic processing to place the audio besides, behind, and above the viewer.
The Vu GloLED TV has a hands-free far-field microphone. This supports voice search and voice commands without having to hold the microphone close to your mouth when speaking.
The Vu GloLED TV has improved its cricket mode to make ball visibility a lot better by using AI algorithms that are part of the Glo AI Processor. The Glo AI Processor also dynamically adjusts pictures and audio to give a stadium-like effect. The Vu GloLED TV has Dolby Atmos virtualization which enhances cricket commentary rather than background stadium noise.
With Cinema mode, Vu is actually showing you the content of how it was shot by the cameraman without filters or image manipulation. The DJ subwoofer and soundbar output cinema quality audio. Additionally, just press a hotkey on the remote, to access Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar and YouTube.
The lighting in a room can significantly impact the content viewing experience. For example, watching a dark scene in a bright room, you miss out on some of the darker details. The Vu GloLED TV has an Ambient light sensor that dynamically adjusts the picture to suit the ambient light and content. So, whether you are watching TV in a dark or bright room, the Ambient Light sensor automatically adjusts the picture according to your room light.
